TID Studio Is Now Permanently Based in Sydney

There's been a big change behind the scenes at TID Studio... As of January 2026, TID Studio is officially and permanently based in Sydney.

If you've been following my work over the last couple of years, this probably won't come as a huge surprise. Many of my recent projects have been located here, which meant I was regularly travelling between Brisbane and Sydney for client meetings, site visits, showroom appointments and installations.

Eventually, the decision became obvious. It was time to stop travelling and simply call Sydney home.

TID Studio Is Now Permanently Based in Sydney

A Business Decision... and a Personal One

From a business perspective, relocating the studio made perfect sense.

Sydney has become where many of my clients are, and being permanently based here allows me to be even more involved throughout every stage of a project - from early concept meetings to construction site visits, supplier appointments, installation days and final styling.

But I'd be lying if I said this move was only about business. Anyone who knows me knows I've always been a city girl. I love the energy of a busy city. The architecture, the design showrooms, the cafés, the harbour walks, discovering new restaurants, visiting exhibitions, finding inspiration in beautiful buildings and simply being surrounded by creativity. Sydney gives me all of that. I genuinely believe this city brings out the best in me, both personally and professionally.

After many years of living in different countries and different cities around the world, I've finally found the place that feels like home.

And that feels pretty special.

TID Studio Is Growing... But It's Still Very Personal

Although TID Studio continues to grow, one thing hasn't changed. When you hire TID Studio, you're working directly with me.

Yes, I collaborate with trusted assistants, consultants and contractors whenever a project requires it, but every layout, every 3D model, every drawing, every material selection, every lighting plan and every design decision still comes from me. That's something that's incredibly important to me!

Interior design is such a personal profession. Every family lives differently, every home tells a different story, and I believe every project deserves individual attention.

It's my years of experience that shape every decision we make together.

Every City Has Left Its Mark

When I look back over my career, I realise how much each place I've lived has influenced the way I design.

It all started in Kyiv. During the final years of my Bachelor of Interior Design degree, I began working as a design assistant, where I quickly learnt that beautiful interiors are never created by inspiration alone. They're built on technical knowledge, clear communication, and an understanding of how ideas become reality.

Those early years taught me something that still forms the foundation of every project at TID Studio today: professional interior design isn't just about selecting beautiful finishes or creating inspiring mood boards. It's about understanding materials and their performance, construction methods, manufacturing capabilities, building standards, and being able to read and coordinate architectural drawings with confidence.

It's also where I developed my passion for professional design software and 3D modelling. To me, these aren't simply presentation tools—they're communication tools. They allow my clients to fully understand and experience their future home long before construction begins, while providing builders, joiners and manufacturers with clear, accurate documentation that minimises misunderstandings and costly mistakes on site.

From there, my journey took me to Dubai, where I spent five years working in both interior design studios and fit-out companies. It was here that I learnt how to manage projects from concept right through to completion, developing a deep appreciation for precision, attention to detail, and the level of coordination required to deliver high-end interiors.

Living in Copenhagen introduced me to Scandinavian design at its source. It wasn't just about discovering Hygge—it was about understanding why simplicity feels so timeless, why craftsmanship matters, and why thoughtfully designed furniture and natural materials never go out of style.

Then came Melbourne, where I had the privilege of working at McKimm—one of Australia's leading high-end residential interior design studios. It was an incredible opportunity to work on beautifully detailed homes while refining my approach to luxury residential design, client experience, and the level of documentation required to deliver exceptional projects.

The next chapter brought me to Brisbane, where I founded OlaInteriors. It was the beginning of building something entirely my own. After years of working in established studios and alongside incredible teams around the world, Brisbane gave me the opportunity to bring together everything I had learnt and develop my own design philosophy, client experience and workflow.

It was here that I refined the design process that has now become the foundation of TID Studio—a process built around clear communication, detailed documentation, immersive 3D visualisation, thoughtful material selections, and guiding clients from the very first ideas all the way through to move-in day.

And now...

Sydney.

A city that's energetic, creative, design-focused and constantly evolving.

Looking back, every chapter has contributed something unique to the way I design today. Together, they've shaped the philosophy behind TID Studio—a balance of creativity and technical expertise, beautiful aesthetics and practical functionality, thoughtful design and meticulous documentation.

It feels like all of those experiences have naturally led me here.

Every one of those chapters has shaped TID Studio into what it is today. Now, Sydney is where all of those experiences come together.

What Does This Mean for Our Clients?

If you're based in Sydney, it means I'm now even closer to your project. More flexibility for site visits. More showroom appointments. More collaboration with builders and architects. More time spent where it matters most—bringing your home to life.

If you're located elsewhere in Australia or overseas, nothing changes. Our Virtual Interior Design service continues to help clients across Australia, the United States and Canada create beautifully considered homes, regardless of location.

Design has never been limited by geography, and that's something I'm incredibly passionate about continuing.

Here's to the Next Chapter

Moving TID Studio to Sydney feels like more than a change of address. It feels like coming home.

I'm incredibly grateful to every client who has trusted me over the years—whether your project was in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney or overseas. Every project has been part of this journey.

And while the studio now has a permanent home in Sydney, the mission remains exactly the same: to create timeless, deeply personal interiors that make everyday life feel just a little more beautiful.

I'm so excited for everything that's ahead, and I can't wait to share this next chapter with you.

If you're planning a renovation or new build and would like to chat about your project, I'd love to hear from you.
