About This Project
Our clients came to TID Studio with a simple request: turn their dark, outdated master bathroom into a bright, calming retreat that feels serene, spacious, and subtly coastal. The previous layout felt heavy and enclosed, with very little natural light reaching the shower and vanity areas — so our design solution focused on openness, soft curves, and materials that breathe.

The standout feature of this bathroom renovation is the curved shower wall, finished in warm kit-kat tiles. This soft architectural moment creates a gentle cocoon effect, transforming the shower into a spa-like hideaway while maintaining an airy feel. Fluted glass pivot doors separate the shower and WC zones, bringing both privacy and filtered light — an elegant balance that keeps the room feeling open and luxurious.
A long, floating vanity stretches across the main wall, providing ample benchtop space, integrated storage, and a fluted façade that ties beautifully into the overall material palette. A stone benchtop and curved vanity corners soften the geometry while enhancing the calm, coastal atmosphere.
Across from the vanity sits a sleek freestanding bathtub, perfectly placed under a wide louvred window. Light spills across the bathroom throughout the day, drawing attention to the natural textures and gentle tones. Brushed brass tapware brings warmth and depth, subtly contrasting the pale stone, textured tiles, and white surfaces.
The result: a bathroom that feels restorative, luxurious, and timeless — a true everyday sanctuary within the home.
